The Tiwari Residence is a Split-Level House planned on the basis of Vaastu Principles. Different sectional spaces create an individual identity for each living space, with the courtyard cohesively integrating them together. The central void becomes a connecting volume between levels with visual, audio and physical links maintaining a rapport between the split levels. The Tiwari Residence uses a contemporary material palette which consists of perforated metal screen, glass and wooden accents. The perforated metal screen on the facade not only allows for some privacy, but also allows filtered light to enter into the entrance verandah during the day. The large corner glass opening on the North-East facade allows natural light to infuse into the internal spaces of the house.
